    Presentation of the course of breeding and agriculture<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Over the past 40 years, concern for animal welfare has evolved based on scientific knowledge which shows that improving the quality of life of animals is directly linked to human welfare.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    It is true that we are what we eat, and what we eat depends on what we grow and raise!<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Animals reflect the environment in which they live. It is there that they find what is necessary for their well-being, their balance, and their health. When not considered, this environment can generate many pathogenic factors.<\/p>\n

    However, providing a healthy environment is not always easy! This training guides the participant in the best practices in terms of animal welfare, the care to be provided, healing gestures and tools and effective preventive actions. In practice, you will become a sustainable farmer-breeder!<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The training includes specific breeding modules * for each animal species – sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, poultry, horses, rabbits. Emphasis is placed on natural practices in relation to the health problems of each species. We will study, for each species, the balance of the meadows in the face of food needs, the animal welfare criteria, the observation of animals for the detection of pathological signs, the presentation of natural care protocols.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    * This training, which includes the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge across zootechnical animal species, also includes a final optional module, of practical application, dedicated to a species and which must be defined during registration (sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, poultry, or horses).<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Acquiring knowledge for more than one species will also be possible with an additional cost of 45 \u20ac per additional animal species.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Beneficiaries<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This training is aimed at breeders and breeders, technicians and veterinarians, researchers, businessmen, teachers, and students in the agricultural field.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Preconditions<\/strong><\/p>\n

    No prior or prior academic qualification is required.<\/p>\n

    A computer with a good internet connection is required, which can technically allow you to watch videoconferences and view videos online. The course will be in Portuguese and the possibility of a French version will be offered.<\/p>\n

    Upon completion of this training, you should be able to:<\/p>\n

    • balance the diet in different animal species,<\/li>\n
    • choose the best proteins for each type of animal,<\/li>\n
    • produce your own “natural mineral supplement” for your animals,<\/li>\n
    • select the most useful probiotics in animal health,<\/li>\n
    • use natural antiparasitic agents,<\/li>\n
    • recognize the signs of animal diseases,<\/li>\n
    • select plants and curative foods, beneficial for each animal species,<\/li>\n
    • limit the risks of viral pathologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Certification<\/strong><\/p>\n

      This training is given by ARAA-Pt and covers theory combined with new trends, all complemented by real cases with field visits. At the end of the course, participants receive a training certificate.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Start date<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Online activities will start in May 2021. You can register for this training anytime and start participating after the start date! The study manuals will be provided in a timely manner so that you can better manage your time. Subsequently, sessions follow, a consolidation of knowledge, a debate on the work proposals and a clarification of your questions that have arisen during your discovery by these manuals! These online meetings will take place on Saturday.<\/p>\n

      The workload is 75 hours divided between autonomous work and synchronous sessions (36 hours). Trainees can manage time accordingly and at their own pace with visits to farms dedicated to selected animal species.<\/p>\n

                          Presentation Jean-Claude Rodet – Instructor*<\/strong><\/p>\n

                          Jean-Claude is a French scientist, doctor in organic agriculture, in veterinary and integrative human medicine and considered as “Doctor of the Earth, Animals and Humans”. He is the author of numerous books and articles in various professional journals on natural health, nutrition, and organic farming since 1975.<\/p>\n

                          His work promotes a substantial increase in agricultural productivity without the use of chemicals. He is a member of the IOIA (Independent Organic Inspectors Association – USA, since 2002). Jean-Claude Rodet is also developing the concept of a new nutritional medicine of which he is the pioneer: nutritherapy<\/strong>, which he has been teaching since 2007.<\/p>\n

                           <\/p>\n

                          Jointly, he has been teaching integrative medicine since the 1980s as a \u201cHeilPraktiker\u201d according to the German approach.<\/p>\n

                          Jean-Claude Rodet presents himself as a scientist at the service of the planet, promoting interdisciplinarity and promoting links between specialists in agriculture, medicine, nutrition, and civic responsibility.<\/p>\n

                          After having created Agrobio, the first Portuguese association of organic agriculture and trained the first technicians in 1984-85, in 1990-91, in Canada, he trained regional technicians in charge of the development of organic agriculture for the Ministry of Agriculture. Agriculture of the Province of Quebec.<\/p>\n

                          Founder of the Institute of Natural Health of Canada (Montreal), he has trained more than 4000 professionals in holistic health and directed the multidisciplinary clinic of Montreal (specializing in pathologies of the digestive system and nutritional disorders) with a team of 15 professionals for 20 years.<\/p>\n

                           <\/p>\n

                          He currently puts his skills at the service of various humanitarian aid actions within the framework of the activities of the International Association of Barefoot Doctors and the Portuguese Association of Environmental and Alternative Resources (ARAA-Pt).<\/p>\n

                           <\/p>\n

                          * Dr Jean-Claude RODET will be supported (in Portuguese) throughout the courses by Dra Carolina FIGUEIREDO (veterinarian), Dra Gabriela RAMOS (Manager) and other specialized trainers.<\/p>\n

                          WHY A COLLECTION OF INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS ON ORGANIC FARMING?<\/strong><\/p>\n

                           <\/p>\n

                           <\/p>\n

                          Extensive and organic livestock rearing, arouse few vocations of “VET BIO”.<\/p>\n

                          These farms, which are still few and often marginal, are neglected or even abandoned by the services responsible for research and teaching animal health.<\/p>\n

                           <\/p>\n

                          Therefore, it seemed important to us to offer livestock farmers (of all animal species) a collection of unpublished essential documents, which address all aspects of husbandry, such as:<\/p>\n

                            \n
                          • Identification of production factors: therapeutic tools and products that can be used by livestock farmers in organic farming,<\/li>\n
                          • Animal nutrition therapy: foods that have recognized therapeutic properties,<\/li>\n
                          • Veterinary herbal medicine: the main plants that treat animals<\/li>\n
                          • Veterinary homeopathy: basic remedies for the main animal pathologies,<\/li>\n
                          • Animal naturopathy: understanding the natural factors of animal health,<\/li>\n
                          • First aid for animals: solutions for emergency situations in organic farming,<\/li>\n
                          • Veterinary biotherapies: a new vision of animal therapies,<\/li>\n
                          • Germinations and natural hydroponic fodder: bio-active vitamins in animal feed, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                             <\/p>\n

                            A specific document for each animal species (farm animals and pets) with suggestions for food, natural care for all the most common species (bee, ostrich, beef \/ dairy cow, dairy sheep \/ meat sheep, quail \/ guinea fowl, duck \/ goose, cat and dog, horse \/ donkey, goat, turkey, snail, pheasant \/ partridge, poultry, peacock, pigeon, pond fish, pig \/ wild boar, earthworms …<\/p>\n

                             <\/p>\n

                            These documents, the first edition of which was published in 1998 and then regularly updated, are the result of research, practical experiences<\/strong> and the compilation of information<\/strong> gathered in the form of testimonies<\/strong>, lessons,<\/strong> and advices put into practice<\/strong> since 1968, in France, in Portugal, in Quebec\u2026 it is about a long course – without pretension – based on experiences acquired from the pioneers of holistic veterinary medicine. Without dogmatism, the information is made available to livestock farmers, technicians, and the other stakeholders in animal husbandry of all species.<\/p>\n

                             <\/p>\n

                            The original documents are written in French<\/strong>. Some have been translated (or are being translated) into Portuguese<\/strong>, a few into English<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                             <\/p>\n

                            Volunteer translators make the compiled unpublished information available to as many people as possible. This is our wish: to share the knowledge acquired to provide livestock farmers relevant information for optimal animal health.<\/p>\n

                             <\/p>\n

                            For all types of breeding, it is necessary to integrate 2 rules before undertaking any treatment:<\/p>\n

                             <\/p>\n

                            1) Understanding microbial imbalances<\/strong><\/p>\n

                            Mistrust of pathogens generally leads to an almost systematic and often massive use of disinfectants, sanitizers, decontaminants, sterilization means using molecules which generally have an aggressive environmental impact.<\/p>\n

                            Offering vaccines is not a credible option. Each vaccine is supposed to allow the production of antibodies specific to a pathology … but “vaccine mania” risks causing a serious immune disorder by inducing above all the formation of allergy antibodies (IgE) to the detriment of the means of defense cellular.<\/p>\n

                             <\/p>\n

                            2) Optimize the functioning of the immune system<\/strong><\/p>\n

                            The natural approach to animal health (it is the same in human health) is to collaborate with the immune system and natural means of defense:<\/p>\n

                              \n
                            • The quality and stability of the intestinal flora and the various other microbiota of the body.<\/li>\n
                            • The supplementation in bioactive trace elements constitutes the second guarantee of immunity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                               <\/p>\n

                              Delbet<\/strong>, with his work on Magnesium (in human medicine), and<\/p>\n

                              Voisin<\/strong>, with his research on Copper (in veterinary medicine),<\/p>\n

                              have demonstrated the relevance and veracity of their therapeutic protocols in the face of infectious states caused by immune collapse, both in humans and in animals.<\/p>\n

                               <\/p>\n

                              To date, no serious scientific dispute has come to contradict the assertions of these researchers with great experience (in the laboratory as in the field) in human medicine and veterinary medicine.<\/p>\n
