Conscious walking or Afghan walking

PLEASE NOTE: This event is postponed for family problems. More details to come.

Description and benefits:

This workshop has 2 parts: Relaxation to increase breathing capacity, then walking consciously.

Part 1: Relaxation to increase breathing capacity

This workshop will teach you how to improve your breathing in a simple and effective way. There are no pre-requisites and the relaxation exercises are accessible to all people of all ages and all physical conditions. It is done in a sitting and then lying position. Many participants relax so much that they almost fall asleep and breathe more freely in 15 to 30 minutes. These tools are therefore ALSO ideal for promoting sleep at night before going to bed.

Part 2: Walk in conscience

Once relaxed, participants will begin to combine breath and walking to explore conscious walking on mostly flat ground. Conscious walking will also be tested on uphill terrain for 3 to 5 minutes maximum for people with no medical contraindications to physical exertion. Those with restrictions will not do this 3-5 minute practice.

We will then explore the different respiratory rhythms while walking, bringing cardiac coherence and meditative state WITHOUT meditation.

This walk has the same effect on the body and mind as cardiac coherence but with the additional benefits of walking (circulation of lymph and blood, lubrication of joints, facilitates intestinal transit).
It also has the same effects as meditation and it is just right for those who fail to meditate quietly while seated.

For those who already have the mastery of meditation, walking in consciousness will take you into higher states of consciousness and into an alliance with the nature around you.

Breathing and walking consciously:

– Clear your mind
– Brings joy, well-being, enthusiasm
– Slows aging
– Optimizes oxygenation
– Improves sleep
– Significantly reduces stress!
